Historical Presentation at Greenslopes by Chris Strakosch

Chris Strakosch is an endocrinologist attached to Greenslopes Private Hospital. He has a life long interest in history and also chairman of the weekly medical ground rounds at the hospital. To mark the end of each year he gives a presentation to the hospital doctors and medical students on a historical rather than the usual medical theme. The "Discovery of Insulin" is pertinent to his line of work but Greenslopes still has a lot of patients who are veterans of the Second World War and subsequent engagements. The other presentations are to provide the staff with a background to the conflicts which have involved their patients."
